Unintentionally, we saw KFC. So, we packed the lunch and left the place. At this moment, the unhappiness occurred. We were bully by 3 Turkish teens in the middle of the road. They were very rude and no manners.
They were playing skating beside the road. When they saw our car, they dashed out and blocked our front way. Then, they started to dance and pike in front of us. One of them approached to my dad by requesting $2.00.
It was ridiculous and bad scene for the whole. It definitely gave me bad impression of the Brisbane City. I do not understand why they downgraded themselves by doing such silly action before thinking wisely.
Our mood were being spoiled and thinking of back to Surfers Paradise. On the way back, we found a park to have our lunch.
Evandale Lake is nearby around there. We skipped our dinner and had an early rest because we need to wake up at 3 a.m. (Australia Time) on the next day to airport.
In short, the journey to Gold Coast and Brisbane was great and fun. Of course, gave me a chance to look around, made me knowledgeable.
• SURFERS PARADISE → BRISBANE
A day trip from Gold Coast to Brisbane was no going on smoothly from the beginning because we booked the trip to Brisbane earlier by tour bus yet the person in charge gave the wrong venue for waiting.
So, we missed it uncertainly. There was no other time to replace it. But, luckily we got the refund back. Therefore, we went back to the same car rental to rent car to Brisbane instead. It was quite fun and great experience for us to drive on self to experience the thrill and adventure for the journey.
Got no idea where to go, just drove straight to our destination to Brisbane. Mean while, unexpected as we drove, found a Marina Shopping Village. This is a nice, quiet and peaceful place. If you are in the age of fifty, you would like to have your retirement over there.
We bought strawberry in the supermarket and a package of 8 ham buns bread at the Bakers Delight.
After that, continued to Tamborine Mountain. Actually, we lost the way. We were not very intelligent by looking at the map. But, finally we managed to find the Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens and Street Market.
Walked around and took some of the photos there. The scenery is beautiful with all the natural of beauty – the tree, grass, flower and sky.
• SURFERS PARADISE → MOVIE WORLD
Had an early breakfast in the hotel before went out to rent car for going to the Warner Bros. Movie World.
Fully enjoyed, spent the whole day in the Movie World. Crazy by having photo section with all the Hollywood big movie stars while my brother had a nice, great and fun day by captured him with all those antique and model cars.
A great experience of having 3D and 4D motion series movie together with Stunt Driver which presented by Castrol was car action theater show.
Managed to tour around, looking at different arrangement themes of place until the end of closing ceremony by watching a lively performance.
• MOVIE WORLD → JUPITERS CASINO
But, it was amazing that we did not feel any tiredness at that moment. Journey on the way back decided to go casino and perhaps settled dinner inside there. The second time of mine entered casino.
When you stepped into the casino, you can see everyone dressed up pretty nice. Ladies wore gown and gents wore smart entire.
You will find it weird with the curiosity of does it looks like casino? Or where more like an entertainment place for nightlife?
Exactly! There do have bistro, you can held celebration, partying and clubbing even high class restaurant to have dinner instead. We just tickling around and went off.
• JUPITERS CASINO → SURFERS PARADISE
Sent the car back to the car rental and walked along the street to the Centro Shopping Central again. Bought souvenirs from Darrell Lea and had McDonald as dinner for the night.

• CENTRO SHOPPING CENTRE
The largest Shopping Centre in Surfers Paradise. It was previously known as the Paradise Centre where you will discover a world of shopping, dining, fun, laughter and entertainment right in the heart of Surfers Paradise. It is located in Cavill Mall opposite the Surfers Paradise main beach, Australia’s most popular tourist beach. It offers a memorable holiday experience.
At there, you will find interesting unique shops to explore with a wide array of flavours to tempt your taste buds. Soak in the relaxed atmosphere and dine alfresco style at one of the restaurants or cafes in Cavill Mall or try the famous Hard Rock Café.
You will find plenty of action and adventure. For your convenience, it offers a Woolworths supermarket, an Australia Post retail centre and is open every day until late each evening.
This place was slightly looks similar to the Taiwan’s tourist centre – 西門町. There do have street performers playing and singing, stalls selling female’s accessories, food and beverage.
We packed our dinner with each one, 1 slide of pizza, with different flavor, back to hotel. While eating, we watched FIFA World Cup Championship 2010. What a special, wonderful and memorable experience for us.

• HIGH TEA CANAL CRUISE
After our lunch, we went for luxuriate comfort of the Rivers High Tea Canal Cruise. Cruise the many kilometers of safe waterways, view on expensive homes and luxurious living lifestyles.
Can you imagine that houses were built on the river? Some of them owned private yacht and helicopter. It was amazing and incredible!
Meanwhile, the cruise also served high tea with light dessert such as: cakes and muffins, coffee and tea. We were fully enjoyed having our relaxation over there.
We exposed ourselves to the nature by enjoyed watching the beautiful scenery along the river, blue sky and air.

• TITANIUM BAR
Titanium Bar is located in Surfers Paradise, Queensland. This place is located just right beside Vibe Hotel.
Titanium Bar offers world class cuisine from the sophisticated culinary restaurant that glazes across to the waters edge.
Coincide that they were offered and served lunch promotion package that day where we had an opportunity to try on their Western Cuisine.
The foods were very delicious and juicy. We ordered Fish and Chips, Steak and Ram Chicken Chop. Wow, I could say that $9.90 per serving were well worth.
The foods serving portion were distributed nicely, not too big nor too less and of course you would guarantee miss the taste after trying it.

9th of JULY
• GOLD COAST AIRPORT → VIBE HOTEL
It took 8 hours for us to arrive at Gold Coast Airport. We reached Gold Coast was around 4.30 A.M., Malaysia Time. The time difference of 2 hours converted to 6.30 A.M., Australia Time.
Once stepped on the ground of the Gold Coast, we were very excited. I can breathed the air was purely clean and fresh. It was so much difference compare to Malaysia environment. (Sorry for telling the truth. :X)
We approached to Shuttle information counter for arrangement of transportation. They arranged a bus by fetching us to our hotel, Vibe. It was located in the Gold Coast City Centre which we found it is much easier to move around.
On the way to the hotel, my brother and I dozed off in the bus. Until we need transferred to a van heading to our hotel, then we only woke up.
• SUBWAY
As we had to wait for the room, we walked nearby hotel to find a place where can filled up our stomach because someone was shouting for food. He was very hungry.
Finally, we managed to find SUBWAY. We ordered 1 big and 3 small slices of bread for our breakfast. After that, we continued walking around.
